Oh My God, He Built Kenny!
/Right on the heels of his fantastic good guys and bad guys, SuckMyBrick is back with everyone's favorite foul-mouthed paper cutouts, the kids from Southpark. I knew when the Mixels came out with their plentitude of various eyes we would see an explosion of character builds, and I'm totally cool with that. Every one of these little guys is instantly recognizable.
Good Guys And Bad Guys
/With a name like SuckMyBrick, you can expect something a bit edgy, and hilarious caricatures of evil world leaders sorta fits the bill. Luckily there's also hilarious caricatures of good guys to balance everything out. Click through for plenty more wonderful figures.
The Heirs Of Durin
/Builder Pate-keetongu is back with more of his merry (ok, some of them are grumpy) band of deposed dwarves hell-bent on retaking their domain from a irritable dragon. This time it's the King under the Mountain, Thorin Oakenshield and his nephews Fili and Kili.
Marvel Mixel Masterpieces
/As the world's nerd population descends upon San Diego California (this nerd included) all manner of dedication to the universe of comics and pop culture is on display. Builder monsterbrick has assembled his own band of heroes mashing up Marvel and the fabulous ball joints from the Mixels line (with a few fun eyeballs to boot). There's some seriously pose-able super hero action going on here.
Teeming With Bugs
/On a recent visit to Hawaii I remembered something about home that I take for granted, very few bugs. It takes a trip outside your bubble sometimes to realize what you have. Not that I have anything against bugs (at least the ones that don't want to nibble on me). But I suppose if all bugs had fun googly eyes like these from legorobo:waka they would be more entertaining to be around.
WALL•E
/Director, builder and all around awesome guy Angus MacLane has further refined his already amazing WALL•E and the results speak for themselves. The best news is you don't just have to gawk at pictures of this MOC, with your support, there's a chance you could have one of your very own. Less than 2500 votes needed, it's getting so close!
In Summer!
/Dateline Miami Florida
Scientists researching the negative effects of men over 50 wearing speedos were startled today to discover a small snowman enjoying the summer heat and sun. Using instruments they had on hand they took several measurements and could not explain the apparent decelerated melt rate of the afore mentioned snow. After several hours study the team adjourned to a nearby hotel to study the data. It should be noted that during all that time it escaped the scientists attention that the snowman did indeed walk, talk, sing and wear a silly hat.
Spawn
/Back in the 90's Todd MacFarlane's Spawn made waves in the comic world and then in the toy world. Now Orion Pax is here to make waves in the AFOL community with this amazing build of the title character. While I'm not a huge fan of customization, I have to say the paint work and modifications on this MOC are amazing.
The First Hipster
/Mr Algernon Moncrieff, in my opinion, was the first hipster. While learning the importance of being earnest (see what I did there?) he led a double life, dodging the responsibilities of aristocratic Victorian London. Today, he'd wear a stupid beanie, have a beard and mustache wax, and vape like there's no tomorrow. Nice build vitreolum.
Bowser
/He may not have been the very first final boss, but he was probably the one the most people have gone up against. Meet Bowser, from Nintendo's ubiquitous series of Mario games. Bowser is the widely considered the principal cause of damage to Nintendo game controllers (due to caffeine-fueled rages of frustrated gamers). This version by Sir Nadroj is pretty perfect (and not likely to cause any damage).
Pikachu, I Choose You!
/Ash and Pikachu pretty much personify Pokemon. The duo go back the the very beginning and have been a formidable fighting team for ages. Now we can enjoy them in brick from thanks to Combee. I especially like the mini Pokeballs on Ash's belt, nice detail.
The Beast
/My first vehicle ever was a lifted '76 Chevy LUV nicknamed "The Beast". It was awesome, with extended cab, 12" woofers, amp, equalizer, big fat tires, the works. At least I thought it was awesome, in reality it was a piece of junk, but in my 19 year old mind it was pretty much this MOC by rongYIREN.
Mystique
/Leafeon! I Choose You!
/Retinence is back with another beautiful and masterful Pokemon MOC. This time it's Leafeon, who certainly looks pretty, but is kinda useless in a fight. I mean c'mon, chlorophyl? What good is that? And after spending all that time raising and evolving Eevee! I'm going back to the gym, I see you guys later.
You've Been Violated
/If you went up in my attic right now you'd find dozens and dozens of Spawn toys. Todd McFarlane shook up the toy industry just like he shook up the comic industry and it elevated everyone's game. One of the incredibly imaginative characters is Clown/Violator, expertly depicted here in brick form by Pistash.
The Right Hand Of Doom
/If you've seen Hellboy this should be instantly recognizable. And if you haven't...WHY NOT!? It's unclear if this is inspired by Mike Mignola's original comics or Guillermo del Toro's brilliant interpretation of those comics. Either way, this MOC by buriedbybricks is phenomenal.
